Alta Via Consulting, LLC. (AVC) was formed in July 1998 with the desire to serve as a niche provider specializing in addressing the specific challenges associated with advanced cost management solutions and supporting managers’ optimization processes. With offices in the Americas, Europe and Africa, our consulting practice has specialized in cost management, planning and simulation, business intelligence and decision support to serve our clients on a global platform.
Since Alta Via’s inception, founding partners Dawn Sedgley, Christopher Jackiw, and Anton van der Merwe with their combined experience continue to keep pace as subject matter experts on the integration of managerial accounting and technology. Our slogan “A Better Use of Information” remains at the forefront of AVC’s strategy and has been our signature statement in the conceptualization, design and implementation on all Alta Via engagements.
